Twelve animals

In Ancient times on the last day of December, God said to animals.
“Tomorrow, on the first day of the New Year, you should come to greet me. I am going to give one year to the twelve animals who come faster.
A cat failed to hear the day when animals go to God and asked a mouse, who answered it was on the second day of the New Year.
On the last day of the year a cow started going to God because she walked slowly.

As soon as the gate opened, the mouse jumped down and ran to God ahead of the cow.
“Dear.Mouse, You are the first comer. I’ll give you the first year.”
“Dear.Cow. You are the second comer. I’ll give you the second year.”
“Dear.Tiger. You are the third comer. I’ll give you the third year.”
“Dear.Rabbit. You are the fourth comer. I’ll give you the fourth year.”

“Dear.Dragon. You are the fifth comer. I’ll give you the fifth year.”
“Dear.Snake. You are the sixth comer. I’ll give you the sixth year.”
“Dear.Horse. You are the seventh comer. I’ll give you the seventh year.”
“Dear.Sheep. You are the eight comer. I’ll give you the eight year.”

“Dear.Monkey. You are the ninth comer. I’ll give you the ninth year.”
“Dear.Hen. You are the tenth comer. I’ll give you the tenth year.”
“Dear.Dog. You are the eleventh comer. I’ll give you the eleventh year.”
“Dear.Boar. You are the twelfth comer. I’ll give you the twelfth year.”

On the next day, the cat came to God, but it was too late.
She knew she was taken in by the mouse.
She got so angry at the mouse that she runs after the mouse on seeing him until she kills the mouse.
