Wild grapes

Grateful Crane
Long long ago, there lived three daughters and their sick mother in a village, which was covered with heavy snow in winter.
The dying mother called her daughters at her bed and said,
“I’m seriously ill.
I can’t live so long.
The last chance to survive is to eat a magical grape.
One of you, bring it for me from the mountain.”

“Mother, I’ll get it for you.”
said the eldest daughter.
The mother taught them where they could find the grape tree.
“If you go near the mountain, you’ll meet a snow lady.
You must tell her the reason and listen to her.
You must do as you are told. You must never disobey her.”
“Ok, I promise.” said she, and left her house in the snow.
When she came at the foot of the mountain, she met a snow lady and told her the whole story.
“Go, go, go!” said the lady.
The eldest daughter hurried toward the mountain in the snow.
“Back, back, back!” said the lady when she went a few meters.
She stopped and returned to her hurriedly, thinking she must not disobey her.
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
At last she got angry and kept on going toward the mountain without listening to her.
When she reached a crossroad, the lady appeared and gulped her in a moment.
The two daughters and their sick mother had been waiting for the eldest daughter to come home in vain.
“Mother, I’ll get it for you.” said the second daughter.
When she came at the foot of the mountain, she met a snow lady and told her the story again.
“Go, go, go!” said the lady.
The second daughter hurried toward the mountain in the snow.
The youngest daughter and her dying mother had been waiting for the two daughters to come home in vain.
“Mother, I’ll get it for you.” said the youngest daughter.
When she came at the foot of the mountain, she met a snow lady and told her the story again.
“Go, go, go!” said the monster.
The youngest daughter hurried toward the mountain in the snow.
“Back, back, back!” said the monster when she went a few meters.
She stopped and returned to her hurriedly, thinking she must not disobey her.
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
“Go, go, go!” “Back, back, back!”
The youngest daughter went and returned again and again. She never disobeyed her.
“Go, go, go!” “Go, go, go!” “Go, go, go!” “Go, go, go!” “Go, go, go!” “Go, go, go!”
She went on and on until she got to the forest.
“Come, come, come!” someone called her and she went toward the voice.
She found a big grape tree full of fruits.
On getting a few fruits, she ran toward her house as fast as possible.
“Mother, I brought some grapes. Please eat them.”
“My daughter, thank you very much for bringing me some grapes.
On eating a grape, the mother got well and recovered her illness.
The daughter and her mother lived a happy life.
